Christmas Holiday 2008 (2/2)

While looking desperately for a campground were a campfire can be lit,
I was going up north on the Eastcoast.

Finally.... in LEIGH I luckily found such a campground and stayed
there for two nights. The

The stunning view out of my tent... in the morning of the 26th December 2008.

The activities undertaken inluded swimming, laughing with a group of Aucklanders originating from Countries such as France, Brazil, Argentina & Portugal and renting a sea kayak...
exploring a little strip of the coast of Goat Island.


Then I made my way to Pakiri Beach and while
driving along on a ridge I enjoyed this world-class scenec view.

Once arrived on the beach I expressed my feeling!

The sand was one of the finest white silicat ones I've ever seen....
and since I didn't have my sunglasses with me it's been tooo bright!
