CAIRNS - update June, 27th
G'day ya'll !
Free Internet Access via WirelessLAN makes it easy 4us to connect to the web! There's a hot spot in a downtown park area that can be used all day long. Sometimes the WLAN disapears but can be used again after a instantly made reconnect.
Today Anne was waiting for a call from any of the hotels she applied yesterday. Yesterday I became a member of the CAIRNS-Libraries to gain access to a various number of media. Only because we have running our car officially licensed to an address in Brisbane we were treated like all other Queensland residetials. Isn't that brilliant!!
Whazzup? As some of you already know-I hardly suffer from arachnophobia (english)/ Spinnenphobie (deutsch). Not even as there was a Tarantulaioura in the van-right in the middle of the night ...I suffer as long as I can remember...
Wie einige wissen, leide ich an starker Arachnophobie/Spinnenangst-nicht erst seit dem mitten in der Nacht eine Vogelspinne bei uns im Van war...sondern schon so lange ich denken kann. I will have a try to overcome the inhibition to touch spiders (or at least to be close to them)!! Ich werde versuchen die Hemmschwelle, Spinnen anfassen zu können zu bewältigen (oder zuindest ohne Angst in deren Nähe zu sein).
WHY: Without a fear I'll be stronger!
WARUM: Ohne Angst werde ich stärker sein!
What is Arachnophobia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arachnophobia
Was ist Arachnophobie: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arachnophobie
What else can be mentioned regarding that: "This is an unique wildlife experience as the Australian Wildlife Zoo are the only zoo of its kind in the world and are the only registered breeders of Australian Tarantulas."
Here I will have a try:
http://www.tarantulas.com.au/index.php
(Click here to see where it is located at)
BTW: The second link on the RIGHT from now on will show our current "Milestones"-where we are and what's our current destination.
c ya, anne & gerald
PS: There are only 97 days left until we will leave australia - heading for NEW ZEALAND! (as my countdown-timer shows here)
