5 days out / Tairua (1/2)

G`day ya`ll !


As the weather-forecast gave a good outlook for a couple of days I decided to hire a rental car and get around for four days.








Today (Wed, 09.04.08) I woke up in Tairua (Coromandel Peninsula) after a relax afternoon-trip yesterday and had a pleasent time on the mostly lonely beach. I watched the sunrise - in the background of some islands and enjoyed the uncrowded beach.

A mob of Dolphins tested the surf during mid-day and I caught them on my digicam. Pitures and videos are coming soon.

On the way back from Tairua I stopped in Pauanui which is an approx. 27km drive - even if they appear to be very close - the river delta makes the difference. Here the track on a map:
